I was born in Tehran,
Iran, in 1971 and grew up there. In 1994 and 1996, I received a
Bachelor and a Master degree, respectively, in pure mathematics at
the
Department of Mathematical Sciences
of
Sharif University of Technology.
During 1997
to 1999, I was a Ph.D. student at
the
School of Mathematics, Statistics and Computer
Science,
College of Science
(formerly called the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science)
at the
University of Tehran
and in
2000, I was a
Junior Associate
Researcher at the
School of Mathematics,
Institute for Studies in Theoretical Physics
and Mathematics (IPM). During 2001-2004, I had been a Post-Doctoral
Research Fellow at
IPM.
Also in the year 2002, I left
IPM to Germany and Italy for a sabbatical leave and I did a project with Professor

University of Hannover), Germany, as well as another
project with
Professor
Maria Silvia Lucido
from
University of Udine,
Italy. Also in the year 2002, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor
